SSGC Compute Tender---SSGC/LP/EPADS2/PT/2181286 (Servers for IT and billing Department) Queries

With reference to SSGC Tender No. SSGC/LP/EPADS2/PT/2181286 (Bid No. P84946) for Servers for IT & Billing Department, we have reviewed the technical specifications and request your clarification on the following points to ensure our proposed solution is fully compliant with the RFP requirements:

1. CC137507 – Rack-Mounted Server: The RFP specifies minimum 8 × 2.5" hot-swap drive bays but does not specify the required storage configuration. Please confirm the required number, capacity and interface (SAS/SATA/NVMe) of the drives.
2. CC137508 – Tower Server: Please confirm the required storage configuration, including number of drives, capacity and interface (SAS/SATA/NVMe).
3. CC030697 – 1U Rack Server: The RFP specifies minimum 8 × 2.5" hot-swap (NVMe/SATA/SAS) drive bays and onboard RAID, but does not specify the actual storage configuration. Please confirm the required number, capacity and type of drives.
4. RAID Requirement: Please specify the required RAID level for each server and confirm whether a dedicated OEM hardware RAID controller is acceptable for the stated “onboard RAID” requirement.
5. Processor Configuration: Please confirm that “02 × 16 Core” means two physical processors, each having a minimum of 16 physical cores.
6. Processor Frequency: Please clarify whether the specified minimum 2 GHz / 3 GHz refers to the base processor frequency, or whether an equivalent/higher-performance processor with a different base frequency will be accepted.
7. CC137507 Rack Form Factor: Please confirm the required rack height (1U/2U/etc.), as the RFP specifies only “Rack Mounted Server.”
8. Network Connectivity: The RFP does not specify Ethernet connectivity. Please confirm the required number of network ports, speed and interface type (RJ45/SFP) for each server.
9. Fibre Channel Connectivity: We could not identify any Fibre Channel requirement in the RFP. Please confirm whether FC HBA is required for any server. If yes, please specify the number of HBAs, ports per HBA, FC speed and required compatibility.
10. Memory: Please confirm that the specified 128 GB / 64 GB RAM represents the minimum total installed memory per server and clarify whether any specific DDR generation/type is required.
11. PCIe Expansion: Please confirm whether there is any minimum requirement for PCIe expansion slots for future NIC, FC HBA or storage-controller expansion.
12. Power Supply: Please confirm the required number, redundancy, wattage and voltage of power supplies for each server and whether 1+1 hot-plug redundant PSUs are mandatory.
13. Storage/Boot Configuration: Please confirm whether the operating system is required to be installed on a dedicated RAID-1 configuration, or whether an OEM-standard boot configuration will be acceptable.
14. CC137508 – Tower Server: Please confirm whether the Tower Server must physically provide 8 × 2.5" hot-swap bays as specified, or whether an equivalent OEM configuration will be accepted.
15. CC030698 – SQL Server: Please confirm that the requirement is Microsoft SQL Server 2025 Standard, 64-bit, Per Core, minimum 2 cores, and clarify whether any additional cores are required based on the proposed server configuration.
16. Warranty Support: Please confirm the required 5-year onsite warranty support, is 5 years support required for NBD or 24x74? Please confirm
