Eligibility Criteria Document
A. Bidder must have experience (Here Proofs such as Work Award, Agreement etc) must be affixed
B. Bidder must not be blacklisted. Declaration on official letterhead required
C. Furniture supplied must be brand new, defect free
D. Furniture must be of best quality and no compromise on quality will be allowed
E. Supplied furniture must have standard warranty of six (6) months and during aforesaid period vendor will be bound to carry out repair and maintenance without any cost claim. Warranty Claim must be settled within three working days and in case of delay deductions from Bank Guarantee will be made
F. Most Advantageous Bidder will be required to submit Bank Guarantee amounting to 10% of overall quoted lump sum cost in form of pay order "SLIC H&AI PREMIUM COLLECTION ACCOUNT" within three days of issuance of Work Award through EPADs. In case of non-submission of Bank Guarantee Work Award will be cancelled. Bank Guarantee must be valid for six months and will remain in State Lifes' possession for six months from the date of complete supply of items
G. Most Advantageous Bidder will be required to ensure delivery of all items within 15 days of issuance of Work Award and in case of delay deductions @0.05% for each day of delay will be made from Bank Guarantee
H. In case it is observed that supplied furniture item (s) isnt as per requirement, vendor will be bound to replace said item within three (3) working days and in case of delay penalty will be imposed (TBD by officer Incharge)
I. In case of denial of service Bank Guarantee will be confiscated and necessary action as per PPRA Rule-19 will be done
J. Bids must be valid for 30 days and conditional bid will be rejected
K. Bidder must clearly specify his/ her quoted item i.e. complete detail and in case of non-compliance proposal will be declared as non-responsive
L. Most advantageous bidder will be required to present one sample of each item as per his/her quoted proposal within five working days of issuance of Purchase Order through EPADs and in case non-compliance Work Award will be cancelled and Bank Guarantee will be confiscated
