Subject: OLD & UNSERVICEABLE MATERIAL (03 SCRAP MATERIAL LOTS)
INVITATION TO e-BIDS THROUGHT EPADS v2.0 FOR DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC ASSESTS
STORES (ENGINEERING) (KARACHI PORT TRUST), invites electronic bids of -- from interested firms / companies Individual / Individual Consultant, Sole Proprietorship, Partnership Firm, Company (Private Limited), Company (Public Limited), Company (Holding Company), State Owned Enterprise (Private Limited), State Owned Enterprise (Public Limited), for e-Auction of OLD & UNSERVICEABLE MATERIAL (03 SCRAP MATERIAL LOTS) on as is where is basis. The bidders must be registered with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for Income Tax and Sales Tax, and must be on Active Taxpayer List. (Requirement of PEC registration may be added in case of disposal of civil, electrical, or mechanical works).
2. e-bidding documents as per Disposal of Public Assets Regulations-2024, containing detailed terms and conditions, specifications and requirements etc. are available for the registered bidders on EPADS v2.0 at https://epads.gov.pk/, and may be searched by using Disposal Activity ID No. D10810.
3. Manual bids shall not be accepted. The bidders shall participate on-line in e-Auction through their EPADS v2.0 accounts. The e-Auction shall remain open till Monday, September 21, 2026 10:00 AM, and will be reviewed and evaluated on-line on the same day at Monday, September 21, 2026 10:30 AM. The bidders shall have the opportunity to increase their offers multiple times till the closing time taht is Monday, September 21, 2026 10:00 AM, after which the bidder with the highest offeror will be automatically selected by EPADS v2.0 as the winner...

| Terms and Condition: Each bidder shall be deemed to have inspected, assessed, and satisfied itself regarding the nature, quantity, condition, quality, weight, usability, and value of the Goods before submitting a bid. The Goods are offered strictly on an “as is, where is” basis, with all faults, if any. No claim for adjustment, replacement, compensation, or cancellation shall be entertained after acceptance of a bid. | |
| Karachi Port Trust may reject any or all bids or proposals at any time before acceptance of a bid or proposal. The decision of the Competent Authority shall be final and binding. After acceptance of the bid, the successful bidder shall deposit the full amount or (remaining 90% amount) of the accepted bid within ten (10) days from the date of acceptance, in the manner communicated by Karachi Port Trust. | |
| All applicable taxes, duties, levies, loading charges, removal charges, and other charges shall be borne by the successful bidder. In the event of non-payment or non-compliance, the bid shall be treated as cancelled, and the earnest money and any amount deposited shall be forfeited. All applicable taxes shall be collected in addition to the bid amount. | |
| The successful bidder shall lift the complete material of the awarded lot within fifteen (15) days after issuance of the delivery order, at its own cost, risk, and responsibility. If the bidder fails to lift the accepted lot, the Director Stores will issue a notice upon expiry of the delivery order. A total of three notices will be issued before the delivery order is cancelled and the security deposit is forfeited. | |
| Loading, labour, transport, handling, safety arrangements, permits, and compliance with site procedures shall be the responsibility of the successful bidder. The Goods shall not be removed without the delivery order or written clearance issued by the authorized Karachi Port Trust representative. | |
| In the event of successful bidder, failing to lift material of any lot/s or part therof, within the free time allowed, ground rent on the material of any lot or part therof not removed shall be chargeable from the purchasers at the following rate, which will be paid by the buyer before commencement of lifting of awarded items:-1st Week, Rs. 1% of the Bid Amount/ day. 2nd Week, Rs. 1.5% of the Bid Amount/ day. 3rd Week, Rs. 2% of the Bid Amount/ day. 4th Week, Rs. 2.5% of the Bid Amount/ day | |
| In the event of the purchaser failing to lift the goods/lot within the free delivery period, ground rent for the closed holidays will also be charged. | |
| In the event of the purchaser who after depositing full amount of bid money will fail to take delivery of the goods purchased by them within the free period and ground rent period as per above condition will be given a final notice by Director Stores to take delivery of their goods within 7 days time after making uptodate payment of ground rent failing which their bid money will be forfeited and the goods or remaining part thereof confiscated and re-auctioned. | |
